BIOLOGY WATER FILTRATION PROJECT
On August 21st, Biology students at GHS will be challenged to create a water filtration system that could turn contaminated water into drinkable water.
Dr. Williams, who works at the Gilbert Riparian Reserve, will be speaking to Biology students and challenging them to create inexpensive and effective water filtration systems.
On September 3rd, students will present their projects to a team from the Town of Gilbert Water facility. The student's systems will be tested and it will be determined which systems are the most effective. This project is truly a real-world Biology application that has the possibility to pay off for students and communities in the near future!
