Across the curriculum, our faculty and staff have committed themselves to a school-wide goal of helping our students excel in mathematics, reading, and writing. We invite all parents to become actively involved in our Parent Teacher Resource Organization. We want to continue the success of parents and teachers working together in partnership to benefit our students.

Our Mission Statement
Gilbert Junior High School is a community of dedicated educators, parents, and students who strive to become:

 The Gilbert Jr High Shear Club is holding a t-shirt drive Jan. 12th-16th.  The will collecting new or gently used t-shirts to make them into totes which will be filled and distributed to the homeless.  The AP class that collects the most T-shirts, will receive a prize.

We would like to thank all our families and friends who attended "Concert in the Courtyard" Friday night.  It was a huge success and a lot of fun!  If you want to make a donation but didn't have a chance that evening, please feel free to go to our PTRO link and print out a donation form.  Donations can also be made in the office of Gilbert Jr High.

  • Please do not forget to call your child in late or absent on the day of their absence.  A child is considered absent in a class if the miss 10 minutes or more in that class.  Students must be in their seats in order not to be marked absent or tardy. 
    Please have your ID ready when picking up your child early from school.
