Welcome to 6th grade at Finley Farms! This is my tenth year as part of the Finley faculty, and I am so grateful to work with such a dedicated teaching staff in an outstanding community. I earned my BA from the University of Arizona, my National Board for Professional Teaching Standards certification in 2006, and my M.Ed. in Administration and Supervision through Arizona State University in 2009. I am thrilled with the opportunity to bring the best in research-based teaching practices to your students everyday. Our school would like to say THANK YOU to those who donated money to the general fund or to individual classroom teachers. This money helps fund field trips, tutoring groups, and AIMS study clubs, as well as other critical extra curricular activities. This school year, the 6th grade team is recommending you submit a one-time tax credit donation of $145.00(subject to minor adjustment) to cover the cost of our three major field trips to the Renaissance Festival, the IMAX Theater, and Science Camp. By paying one time through tax credit, rather than submitting payment to the teacher for each trip separately, you can claim the money as a donation on your tax returns!
