At South Valley Junior High, home of the Sabercats, we are pleased to welcome students to a new phase of their education. Junior high is a transition time for our students physically, emotionally and academically. At South Valley Junior High we prepare our students to be successful with a variety of academic, athletic and support services. Our mission is to ensure that every student strives for academic achievement and develops good character in a nurturing community in preparation for the future. At South Valley Junior High, we challenge our students to be the best they can be. We are proud of our accomplishments, but more excited about the future.

All parents are invited to become actively involved by participating in the PTSO and volunteering at South Valley Junior High. It is this partnership that will help create an environment of success for each of our students. South Valley Junior High will present many challenging opportunities for our students. We encourage each student to achieve a balance of quality academic programs and extracurricular activities. This will provide students with a well-rounded experience and allow them to prepare for the challenges ahead. Thank you for your support of South Valley Junior High, we look forward to continuing our tradition of excellence.

Mission Statement: South Valley Junior High's mission is to ensure that every student strives for academic achievement and develops good character in a nurturing community in preparation for the future.

  • Message from the nurse: Parents with students that suffer from asthma: Lets work together to keep your student safe! The asthma and allergy season has shown no mercy this year.  If your student has suffered from asthma symptoms in the past, regardless of how long ago, please complete a consent form for your child to carry his/her inhaler.  The forms can be found in the health office.  Remember to check the expiration date on the inhaler and replace if needed.  Thank you!
