At South Valley Junior High, home of the Sabercats, we are pleased to welcome students to a new phase of their education. Junior high is a transition time for our students physically, emotionally and academically. At South Valley Junior High we prepare our students to be successful with a variety of academic, athletic and support services. Our mission is to ensure that every student strives for academic achievement and develops good character in a nurturing community in preparation for the future.     Yesterday in Saber cat sports:

    The 7th grade volleyball team improved their record to 4-2, with a great win over Highland Jr. High.. Outstanding performances were by Adriana Reyes, Danielle Raureana, Isabella Solano, and Fallyn Welsh!! Way to go Girls!!  Good luck against G.C.A today!!

    The 8th grade Volleyball Team had a disappointing loss last night to Highland Junior High School last night 15-25, 17-25.Strong serving by Emma Poly, Peyton Moore, McKenna Androsky and Emily Jarrette. Cassidy Lamb, Shyan Green and Taylor Van Winkle came through with some strong net play. Great effort ladies!!!

    The boys soccer team won yesterday, beating Highland Jr 5 -0  The boys played as

    One and showed amazing team work.  Goals scored by Hayden, Josh, and a Hat trick by Drew       Great job Fellas!

    Congratulations to the  7th grade Football team for defeating Gilbert Jr  30 – 20

    In a very well played game yesterday, the Lady Sabercats Soccer team beat Highland 2 to 0.  The team should great teamwork.  Scoring for the Sabercats were Emilie Bennett and Lexie Poulsen.  Congratulations ladies and good luck today against GCA!

    NJHS meeting today after school in the library

    Spike It Club will NOT meet on Wednesday this week...See you Monday after break!!

    FROG Club will meet this Thursday after school in Rm#108.    New members need to bring their permission slips.  Pick up is at 4:10pm.
