How to Register for a Course
- The last day for 7th-11th graders to sign up for an online class is April 15. (Spring Registration is Closed)
- Online Summer School course information and registration is now available online.

The Cohorts are Coming, The Cohorts are Coming!! - Beginning July 1, students will now be able to register for 9 week cohort online courses.
- All courses through the Global Academy will be 9 weeks in length. Student will now be able to take up to two online courses per 9 week cohort.
- Courses will be set up to start on specific dates and end 9 weeks later.
- It is recommended that a student only take one course per 9 weeks, but if a student is motivated and disciplined to learn the material in the course, the student may sign up for two courses.

How To Register for a Global Academy Online Course
- Contact your school’s counselor to determine which classes you should take online. Your counselor will notify the Online Learning Office on which classes you can sign up for through Online Learning.
- After you have met with your counselor, have your parents click on the below link "Current GPS Student - Global Academy Course Registration Form" , fill out the form, and then select submit.
- You will receive an email course confirmation within five (5) business days of your registration.
- Your course will begin on the first day of your selected cohort course day.
- Students will need to begin their course within the first seven days (7) of receiving their course confirmation email.

- Second semester seniors and early graduates will have a course completion date of May 9, 2013 or sooner.
- Last day for seniors or early graduates to sign up for a class is March 22.
Current GPS Student - Global Academy Online Course Registration Form for spring courses is closed (Fall Registration will begin on July 1, 2013)
Remember that you must meet with your school counselor before you can register for an online class.
Current GPS Junior High School Students
How To Register for a Global Academy JHS Online Course (Credit Recovery/Remediation courses only)
- Your school's counselor will send you a letter identifying the course your son or daughter will need to take.
- The counselor will notify the Online Learning Office on which course you can sign up for through Online Learning.
- Once you have received the letter from your counselor, please click on the below link "Current GPS Student - Global Academy Course Registration Form" , fill out the form,and then select submit.
- You will receive an email of your course confirmation within five (5) business days of your registration.
- Your course will begin on the first day of your selected cohort course day.
- Students will need to begin their course within the first seven days (7) of receiving their course confirmation email.
- Tuition for junior high school remediation courses is free.
- Student may only take one remediation course at a time, however, they may register for more courses once the first course has been successfully completed.
- Students will have 9 weeks to complete their online course. All course work must be completed by the course end date date.

How To Enroll and Register for a Global Academy Online Class
- The Global Academy enrollment process must be complete prior to registering for courses.
- Please click on the New GPS Student - Global Academy Enrollment Packet link below.
- Full-time Global Academy students will need to provide the following documents in addition to the enrollment packet:
- Birth Certificate
- Immunization Records
- Copy of Parent/Guardian's ID or Driver's License
- Proof of In-District Residency (see enrollment packet for accepted documents)
- Please do not register for courses until you have been advised by Global Academy staff on course selection. A high school credit check must be performed prior to registration in order to ensure that students select courses that support their high school graduation plans.
- After your enrollment has been processed, you will receive a phone call within five (5) business days confirming enrollment and course information.
- **Please note that you will not fill in course selections on this form. Global Academy staff will fill in the appropriate course selections after the form is received. Course selection will be based on credit check information and collaboration between parent, student, and Global Academy staff.

Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Testing hours: Tuesday – Thursday from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
(No testing on Fridays, school holidays, fall, winter, and spring breaks)
