Welcome to the Hawk Battalion JROTC Website! We have been designated as a Honor Unit with Distinction. This site provides information on Highland High School Army Junior Reserve Officer Training. Please see the Tryouts section in the selection bar above for any questions concerning tryout dates, forms, procedures, and contact information.

Requests for Program Appearances
If you are interested in the Cadets of the Hawk Battalion (Color Guard, Drill Team, etc.) making an appearance at your upcoming event, please make a formal request to Theodore.konfederak@gilbertschools.net.

Congratulations to the JROTC Seniors
Seven of our ten graduating JROTC seniors recieved scholarships to colleges! Congradulations to Derek Shaull for recieving a four year scholarship to NAU valued at almost 60,000 dollars!!

Congratulations to ALL Cadets
March 3: The Highland Hawk Battalion has become one of the few units in the nation to achieve Honor Unit with Distinction after the Brigade Formal Inspection today! It took a lot of hard work and long hours for the students to acieve this recognition. So, what does it mean? Click here to see what the benefits are of being an Honor Unit with Distinction are.

Congratulations to the Exhibition Drill Team
February 26: the Drill Team participated in Carl Hayden Drill Meet and took second place in Exhibition Drill! Great job to Tyler Cinimi and the rest of the crew!!

Drill Team practices are at 2:30 PM at the JROTC classroom. All cadets interested in trying out need to be there.
