The career center is a resource lab for students, parents and faculty, to learn more about career and post-secondary education planning.

  • Information on scholarships, grants and loans
  • Resumes/job seeking skills
  • Materials for colleges and universities, vocational and technical schools
  • College/University representative visits
  • Various career guest speakers
  • Workshops on financial aid
  • GYES Employment
  • Summer enrichment opportunities
  • Info on Military Services

Each student should check the events calendar board in the Career Center or Counseling Office for Career Center activities.

Gilbert Youth Employment Service (GYES)

GYES is a free community service sponsored by Gilbert Public Schools Vocational Education Department. GYES offers part-time employment opportunities while in school and full-time after graduation in a variety of work environments for youth, ages 16 through 21. Pick up an application in the career center, complete the form, and return it to Ms. O’Brien the Career Center Coordinator. All applications are processed and job referrals made through GYES.
