Labeled an Excelling School by the Arizona Department of Education, Ashland Ranch Elementary provides an environment of acceptance and high standards for students and staff. A community partnership helps create an enriched educational environment that leads to the modeling of the Character Counts! Six Pillars of Character. Our student opportunities, aside from academics, can range from Science Camp, Oceanography, Student Council, Guitar Club, Lego/Robotics Club, Music Club, Yearbook Club, Chess Club, Strings, Band, and many Club Discovery programs. We are proud supporters of ‘Make a Wish’ and believe that Ashland Ranch Elementary is the place to be.
Our Mission:
Ashland Ranch is dedicated to building a welcoming, collaborative atmosphere that is student-focused and community-oriented. We strive to be current, both academically and technologically, in pursuit of creating lifelong learners.
Benchmark School
Ashland Ranch has been acknowledged as a Benchmark school. Twenty-two K-8th grade schools out of 786 schools were recognized as top schools from ASU and the Department of Education. These schools were chosen based on their AIMS scores over the past three years. Ashland Ranch was selected by having their third grade test scores advance more each year than those schools with similar make-up. We are extremely proud of this acknowledgement, and we, the staff, understand that this is a team effort. Thank you to the parents, community, staff and students for making Ashland Ranch one of the best!

On February 17th our Student Council welcomed the Arizona Community Tree Council to our playground to plant two trees, which they were awarded in conjunction with the CENTENNIAL TREE PROJECT – CANOPY FOR THE NEXT CENTURY program presented by SRP. The Council is working with communities throughout the state to plant hundreds of trees to commemorate Arizona’s 100th Birthday. Thanks to everyone who came out to the ceremony. We were given two plaques to commemorate the event. We would like to mount these two plaques on boulders and place them in front of the trees. We would appreciate any donations to make this happen! Please contact Camille in the front office if you can help.
