APPLICATION PROCESS
  1. Create an Account 
    First you will need to create an account and select a username and password. Once your account has been created, you may return to update your application or add attachments.
  2. Complete your Application 
    Once your application is complete, you can apply for existing positions and edit or update your account at any time. Note: If there are no current open positions, you can still complete an application

Screening Interviews:
When complete, your application will be made available for screening and/or employment interviews. Due to the volume of applications received, our Human Resource (HR) Department is unable to accommodate pre-screening interviews for all of our applicants. If an administrator requests a screening interview after your file is reviewed, they will contact you to schedule an appointment. All recommendations for employment are finalized through the HR Department; therefore, all inquiries should be made directly to this office.
 
 
CERTIFIED APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
  • Resume
  • Copy of your college transcripts
  • Three letters of recommendation that include at least two from the following:
  1. Your most recent supervisor or administrator
  2. Your mentor teacher, if applicable
  3. Your university supervisor, if applicable
  • Copy of your current Arizona Teaching Certificate
  • Copy of your current Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Proof of Highly Qualified Teacher status by one or more of the following:
  1. Passed the appropriate AEPA subject (content) knowledge test
  2. Earned a minimum of 100 points on an appropriate AZ HOUSSE rubric-prior to June 30, 2007 (documentation required upon hiring)
  3. Possess 24 credits in the core academic subject area
  4. Hold an advanced degree in the core academic subject area
  5. Hold National Board Certification in the core academic subject area (Generalist Certificates are not acceptable)
  6. HQT Reciprocity (must provide comparable out of state results or HOUSSE rubric documentation)
  • Proof of prior years teaching experience (verification of employment letter from previous employer)

Directions for attaching the above mentioned items to your application can be found on the last page of the application. If you are unable to attach them you can drop them off at the District office or mail them to Human Resources, 140 S. Gilbert Rd, Gilbert, AZ 85296. Provided documents will not be returned. Do not send originals.
