Gilbert Public Schools Board Brief for October 2, 2018The Governing Board met for a Work Study & Brief Board Business Meeting on Tuesday, October 2, 2018. 

The Work Study was called to order at 6:30pm.

Item 2.03 - A-F Letter Grades was tabled, as the grades had not yet been received from the Arizona State Board of Education.

Executive Director of Technology, Mr. Jon Castelhano, and Coordinator of Instructional Technology, Ms. LeAnne Lacey presented 2.01 - Secondary Teacher Refresh.  Mr. Castelhano and Ms. Lacey were available to answer questions from Governing Board members.

This was followed by presentation of the 2017-2018 Annual Financial Report by Assistant Superintendent, Ms. Bonnie Betz and Director of Finance, Ms. Jackie Mattinen.  Ms. Betz and Ms. Mattinen were available to answer questions. The Board thanked Ms. Betz and her team for their work.

The Work Study was adjourned at 7:45pm.

The Brief Business Meeting was called to order at 7:50pm.  The Consent Agenda was then approved (5-0 vote), with the removal of item 5.03 for questions.

Following questions, item 5.03 - Request for Temporary Easement Agreement between Gilbert Public Schools and AABS Properties, LLC was approved with a 5-0 vote.

The meeting was adjourned at 7:55pm.
