To be eligible for the Behind the Wheel course, students must have successfully completed all requisite coursework (PE 505) through Gilbert Public Schools. The state mandates that eligible students must have completed 30 plus hours of book work, and 3 plus hours of simulation prior to taking the Behind the Wheel course. Upon successful completion of the Behind the Wheel course, students will receive a certificate that they may then exchange for their license. Behind the Wheel is for the driving test only! Proof of successful completion of Driver’s Education must be presented to the instructor by the way of transcripts, prior to the start of BTW.
Once registered, the Driving Instructor will contact students to arrange a schedule for BTW. High School campuses with their accompanying instructors are listed below. Please sign up for the instructor from your home campus.
