Gilbert Adult Learning Programs

GED and Adult Basic/Secondary Education
The Gilbert Adult Learning Program offers GED and Adult Basic Education/Adult Secondary Education (ABE/ASE) classes to help you prepare for the GED exam or to provide enrichment in the following areas:
  • Language Arts (Reading & Writing)
  • Math
  • Science
  • Social Studies
  • College and Career Readiness
Our ABE/ASE/GED classes are designed to address the diverse educational needs of adult learners. We offer small class instruction in all four test areas and also have computer software, textbooks, and worksheets to complement your study plan.

When a student enters our program, standardized assessments in reading, writing and math are administered and the student's lesson path is determined. Individual assignments are made based on the results of these assessments. Students must attend registration prior to enrolling in a GED class. Classes are scheduled during the morning and evening to accommodate your schedule.
