Keegan Bassett is the proud Principal of Finley Farms Elementary. Originally from Colorado, Mr. Bassett moved to Arizona to complete his bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education through Arizona State University. Out of college, he joined Gilbert Public Schools as a 3rd grade teacher at Towne Meadows Elementary and later moved to a 6th grade teaching position at Canyon Rim Elementary. Following a year with the Chandler Unified School District while earning his master’s degree in Educational Leadership, Mr. Bassett jumped at the opportunity to rejoin Gilbert Public Schools as an administrator at Highland High School. During his time at Highland High Mr. Bassett worked with the senior class, the Mathematics department, and oversaw Special Education programs. Returning to the elementary level as a Principal has always been a goal for Mr. Bassett and he is honored to be entrusted as the leader of Finley Farms Elementary school. Mr. Bassett and his wife Dani are blessed with two amazing sons, Brayden and Corbin. Mr. and Mrs. Bassett enjoy spending time outside of school with their children at various sporting events and taking adventurous road trips.
