Mr. Lunt received his undergraduate degree from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Education. Dale then went on to earn a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University.

Mr. Lunt truly believes that motivation and dedication on the part of families and the school results in a community of successful learners.  This partnership is helping to build brilliant leaders. Additionally, he believes that establishing community partners is essential to enriching the community experience at Oak Tree Elementary. Under Mr. Lunt's leadership, the campus has received a “B” letter grade from the Arizona Department of Education for academics. Additionally, in 2017 and 2023, Oak Tree was awarded the Arizona A+ School of Excellence by the Arizona Education Foundation.

Born in Willcox, Arizona, Mr. Lunt is an Arizona native.  He and his family have lived in Gilbert for over 30 years. During his free time, Dale enjoys reading, spending time with his wife, Suzanne, their children, and grandchildren, serving in the community, and supporting ASU athletics.
