THRIVE is a College & Career Success Guide providing helpful timelines and resources to encourage students (and their families) to get the most out of their high school experiences along with helping our students plan for their brightest futures.

    It's time to prepare to THRIVE and make plans for high school and beyond with actionable steps! Each high school year is broken down into school quarters with easy, actionable steps and helpful information, with support resources along the way.

What is an ECAP?

  • In 2008, the Arizona State Board of Education approved Education and Career Action Plans for all Arizona students grades 9–12. An ECAP (Education and Career Action Plan) reflects a student’s current plan of coursework, career aspirations, and extended learning opportunities in order to develop the student’s individual academic, career goals and post-secondary plans.

    AZCIS – Arizona Career Information System (ECAP)

    Arizona Career Information System is the tool we use to build your Education and Career Action Plan (ECAP), assess your interests and skills, and much more.  The goals of ECAPs are to guide students and parents through successful high school and post-secondary transitions; increase retention and graduation rates; and provide career planning, guidance, and development resources.

Free/Reduced Lunch Application – for More than Just School Lunches!

  • Free and reduced-price meals are available to families who qualify. If your family chooses to apply, please fill out a Free & Reduced Meal Application.

    Did you know that if you qualify for assistance through the National School Lunch Program (NLSP), you may eligible to receive fee waivers for the SAT/ACT exams, some College Applications and fee reductions for AP Exams?

    From the College Board:

    "The College Board fee-waiver service assists qualified, economically disadvantaged students who plan to take the: SAT/SAT Subject Tests/PSAT/NMSQT/AP Exams. A student must be either enrolled in or eligible to participate in, the National School Lunch Program (NLSP) in order to receive a fee waiver. Schools participating in new federal programs such as Community Eligibility may not be able to use the NLSP criterion to identify and verify individual student fee-waiver eligibility. However, several other criteria or indicators can still be used to confirm eligibility for fee-waiver benefits."
