What is FAFSA and Who Should Apply?

According to FAFSA® (Federal Application for Student Aid) provides more than $120 billion in grants, loans, and work-study funds each year to help pay for college or career school. State governments and many colleges and career schools may also use your FAFSA information to award you their aid.
The FAFSA application starts on October 1st for the following year. To apply for this aid, you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) form.

CGCC is holding monthly FAFSA workshops to provide students with financial aid expert support to assist in completing their FAFSA. Walk-Ins Welcome. No Registration Needed. Bring a picture ID and a copy of 2018 Taxes. Students under 24 years old should also bring a Parent and their Parent's 2018 Federal Taxes.
