Public Comment 1

Live or Work in the District: Yes
Child(ren) attending a GPS school: No
Comment: The installation of BenQ boards in the classrooms is a topic of discussion in our high school. The reality is that they are not wanted or really needed at this time for most teachers. The $10,000,000.00 could have been much better spent in repairing and maintenance of the school buildings. I do not need this BenQ board right now. What could be done in its place: my roof is leaking, my desks and tables and chairs are old and worn out, shelves need fixing, etc.

Child(ren) attending a GPS school: Yes
Comment: I'm sure you're tired of hearing it, but now that kids are being hospitalized more and more with COVID, and since our bus has been canceled more than once in the last month due to staffing shortages, perhaps GPS could take a stronger stance on promoting masks. It doesn't cost people anything except humility to wear a mask, but it costs our kids' education and health to continue to oppose them.
