Comment: I have heard there is a girl at Greenfield who has decided to "identify" as a boy, and is now in the boys' PE class INCLUDING using the boys' locker room! This is unacceptable. Our children need to feel safe in the locker room and not worried about children of the opposite gender being there.

Comment: I am a special needs single mom to Tristan Pastrano, a 14 yo at Greenfield JH. The proposed full school year change will create additional hardships for Tristan and my ability to financially support him. The constant schedule changes will prohibit his growth due to his ability to adapt. It also renders me as a corporate professional unable to maintain gainful employment. To adopt this change will unfortunately cause us to consider education outside of GPS.

Comment: -AP program at MHS it’s going down. AP course cut and others not offered. Improvements to this program is needed. -Counselors need to respond to students when they need help. -More clubs in areas of STEM and MATH are needed. _Too much support to sports activities and not much to others is happening. GREAT teachers and counselors leaving, not good. Teachers just getting through curriculums, and students just trying to pass instead of learning to be creatives.

Comment: A large population of parents are angry that a club coach is able to be hired at a JH and HS team where their own athletes are students. There are unfair biases made while picking the teams. Great athletes are potentially unable to make these teams because time and again, coaches are picking members from their club team to be on the school team which they also coach. Most recently, the Greenfield JH coach Kenny Crandall who chose 8 members from his club team to be placed on the school team.
