My name is Brad Paes and I am entering my 19th year as Principal of Burk Elementary School. Before coming to Burk I was the Assistant Principal at Mesquite Jr. High for 3 years, and prior to that I enjoyed 15 successful years as a 6th grade teacher at Gilbert Elementary School. I am proud to say I have been part of GPS for 37 years!

At Burk Elementary we believe that all our students can learn, every day! We consistently provide our students quality academic instruction while maintaining a true sense of community. We are pleased to offer our students and families the kind of campus that fosters excellence in both academic, as well as, social and emotional intelligence. Our goal is to assist families with developing capable, resilient young people who will grow to achieve academic success throughout their school career. Burk is recognized by the state of Arizona as an "A" rated school.
