GCA Mission: Gilbert Classical Academy is committed to developing students of impeccable character who embrace a passion for learning by gaining a solid foundation of knowledge through a rigorous, classical curriculum. Utilizing the Socratic method of instruction, students are empowered to think critically, work collaboratively, and prepare for lifelong learning.
GCA Vision: The vision of Gilbert Classical Academy is to prepare students for success at a college or university by fostering the development of each student’s academic and social potential.

ASU Model U.N. Winners
GCA's Model U.N. team competed at ASU MUN tournament on Friday, November 18th. The team did a great job, taking home multiple awards. Farhan Islam, Arshiya Mohamed, Phil Ni, Alana Skiera, & Cindy Tran all won awards for Best Novice Position Paper in their respective committees. Arshiya Mohamed also took home the award for Best Veteran Position Paper in her committee! Charlotte Pascoe won Best Novice Diplomat in the Historical Council, while Alexander Tangpan took home awards for Best Novice Delegate and Best Novice Diplomat in the General Assembly. Leah Kabilan was awarded Best Veteran Diplomat in the Historical Council, while Isabella Smith won Best Veteran Delegate in the Human Rights Council. In addition, GCA was awarded 3rd place for Best School.

Congrats to Our National Merit Scholars!
Two GCA Seniors are among the nation's top academically talented high school students. Khushi Parikh and Ayla Young both qualified as National Merit Scholarship recipients. Each year GCA Juniors are invited to take the PSAT/NMSQT in the Fall, the qualifying test for entry to the competition for scholarships to be awarded each year. Being recognized as a National Merit Scholar is a huge honor as it recognizes years of hard work and dedication to learning. We wish them all the best!

Spartan Basketball Teddy Drive!
Join us for an exciting night of Spartan Basketball as all four squads take on Santa Cruz. Bring in a new Teddy bear to donate to the Children's Homeless Shelter to be entered into the prize raffle. Gilbert Classical Arena 3 PM - 9 PM | December 10, 2021

Speech & Debate Team Winter Trophy Results
GCA's Speech & Debate team participated in the Winter Trophy tournament this past weekend. Katelyn Chu and Keilani Uehara took first place in duet acting. Shravya Aragam took third place in original spoken word poetry. Matthew Jiang and Hayden Nguyen took third place in the varsity public forum. In addition, Cindy Zhong made it to the semifinals in impromptu, Mankaran Dhillon made it to quarterfinals in big questions, Lizzie Beistle made it to quarterfinals in varsity Lincoln-Douglas debate, and Emily Enriquez and Benson Gailey both made it to quarterfinals in novice Lincoln-Douglas debate. Congratulations to all!
