About Community Education
Community Education is pleased to offer a wide variety of programs to meet the needs of students in Gilbert Public Schools. Our mission is to help children reach their personal best in mind, body, and spirit.
Enrichment
Unlock your child's potential with our dynamic after-school enrichment classes! From STEM exploration to creative arts, our engaging programs foster curiosity, critical thinking, and confidence in elementary aged students.
Facility Rentals
GPS Facilities Rentals are open to the community, non-profit groups, small and big businesses alike. GPS has 40 schools with a variety of facilities to meet your organization’s needs.
Gilbert Youth Athletics
GYA is committed to providing coaching focusing on the overall development of each student-athlete elementary to junior high.
Preschool
We offer preschool programs Advantage, Building Blocks 3, Building Blocks 4, Kindergarten Prep & TOYBOX. All programs are aligned to the AZ Dept. of Education Early Learning Standards.
V.I.K. Before & After School Care
VIK offers a safe and fun-filled extended learning environment for GPS families, serving students in K-6th grade. VIK Club is available at 26 elementary schools.

Note: Gilbert Public Schools Community Education Department has computer terminals available at our office at 6839 East Guadalupe Road in Mesa, Arizona, for preschool enrollment for families without online access.
