Mrs. Shana Murray, Board Member

Shana Murray has been an educator in Arizona for the past 15 years. She and her husband, Devin, are the proud parents of two amazing kids—Bryce, who is 8, and Brynlee, who is 5. They both attend school in Gilbert Public Schools. Being part of this wonderful community for the past nine years has been such a joy for their family. 

Shana is currently in her 13th year as a teacher with Mesa Public Schools, for the last 4 years teaching 6th grade. Throughout the rest of her time there, she taught a range of grade levels, including Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grades. Education is truly her passion, and she has worked hard to continue growing as a teacher and leader. She holds two Master’s degrees—one in Teaching and another in Leadership and Administration—which have helped her better serve students and colleagues over the years.

As both a mother and a teacher, she cares deeply about the success of our children and families in the community. She is excited to give back to Gilbert in new ways over the next four years and work together to grow Gilbert’s bright future as a district and neighborhood.
