Mrs. Shana Murray, Board Member Clerk

Shana Murray has been an educator in Arizona for 15+ years. She is the proud parents of two amazing kids—Bryce and Brynlee. They both attend school in Gilbert Public Schools. Being part of this wonderful community for over nine years has been such a joy for their family. 

Shana is currently a teacher with Mesa Public Schools, teaching 6th grade. Throughout her time there, she has taught a range of grade levels, including Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grades. Education is truly her passion, and she has worked hard to continue growing as a teacher and leader. She holds two Master’s degrees—one in Teaching and another in Leadership and Administration—which have helped her better serve students and colleagues over the years.

As both a mother and a teacher, she cares deeply about the success of our children and families in the community. She is excited to give back to Gilbert in new ways over the next four years and work together to grow Gilbert’s bright future as a district and neighborhood.
