The Accounts Payable Department is located at the Gilbert Public Schools Educational Complex in Building F, 140 South Gilbert Road, Gilbert, Arizona. Accounts Payable is responsible for accurately processing all vendor payments for the district. The department includes student activities and auxiliary operations.

The Gilbert Public Schools athletics program is comprised of five high schools, six junior high schools, and one academy which is a combined junior high and high school. We offer many different sporting opportunities for high school and junior high school students, with great success in all areas. Please come and support our student-athletes.

The Business Services department encompasses the following departments that assist with tasks that are needed to serve the students of Gilbert Public Schools: Accounts Payable, Finance, Student Records, Nutrition Services, Legal Counsel, Maintenance and Operations, Property Management, Purchasing, Transportation Department, and Warehouse.
Gilbert Public Schools supports a diverse selection of CTE programs at each of our five comprehensive high schools.

Gilbert Public Schools continues to work diligently to provide standards-based instruction so that student learning is at the level of rigor required by the Arizona Academic Standards. Teachers collaborate and meet regularly in their Professional Learning Communities to create and implement research-based instructional strategies to support high levels of learning for all students.
The Board is authorized under the laws of the state of Arizona to adopt all needed policies and regulations for the organization, evaluation, and governance in the District. The Board shall act as the general agent of the state of Arizona in carrying out the will of the people of this District in the matter of public education.
The Finance Department is responsible for accurately accounting and reconciling all District funds. The members of this team strive to ensure that the District is compliant with all federal and state guidelines and regulations - striving to obtain 100% compliance for all audit reviews. Our primary objective is to guide our schools so that they can get what they need for classroom instruction, within the constraints of the laws.
Gilbert Public Schools has nurse coverage and health assistants in all of our schools available to assist students with illness and injury-related problems. In addition, we also conduct health screenings, assist students and families with referrals for health-related services, and follow-up, and act as a health education resource for students, their families, and our staff.
The Hearing and Compliance Office's mission is to support a safe learning environment for all students.
If a student behaves in a way that is inconsistent with the district's expectations, various interventions are implemented which can include a student being suspended from school. If a student is suspended for 10 days, an informal meeting will be scheduled with this office.
Gilbert Public Schools Maintenance and Operations Department is committed to keeping all district facilities and grounds safe, clean, and functional for students, staff, and visitors.
The goal of the District Marketing and Communications team is to keep the community well-informed about all school issues, programs, and activities, to gather feedback and connect with our community stakeholders on important issues, and to share and celebrate GPS “good news”. We are also focused on retaining students and increasing enrollment across our District.
The Gilbert Public Schools Nutrition Services Department is made up of an experienced team of nutrition professionals who are dedicated to providing our students with the best possible dining experience.

Professional Growth & Development is dedicated to providing quality, research-based professional learning opportunities for all employees. We focus on high-effect instructional practices that emphasize the importance of student-centered classrooms.
The Property Management Department is responsible for tracking all district assets: land, buildings, copiers, buses, etc. They are also responsible for annual depreciation processes and all asset schedules for the annual audit. They equip classrooms, (when items are available in surplus) as well as dispose of assets once they become inoperable and/or obsolete.
The Purchasing Department is the central purchasing agency for the District. The members of this team strive to ensure that the District is compliant with all federal and state procurement guidelines and regulations. Our goal is to achieve maximum value while providing guidance and customer service to both our internal customers (end users) and external users (vendors and community).
The Gilbert Public School Safety and Security Department is committed to providing a safe learning and working environment for all students, faculty, staff, and visitors. The Security Department supports all the district’s security needs ranging from securing the district’s assets, training security staff, emergency planning, as well as developing and implementing new innovative safety and security related protocols.

The State Reporting Group assists in SAIS reporting for student data including enrollment, and attendance.

The Transportation Department supports all the district transportation needs ranging from busing to and from school, special needs busing, and activity trips.
