  • The following Student Enrichment Programs are offered at our school.  These programs are coordinated and managed by our Community Education Department.  Please click on the registration links below to learn more and register today.

    Note: Gilbert Public Schools Community Education Department has computer terminals available to use at our office at 6839 East Guadalupe Road in Mesa, Arizona, for preschool enrollment for families without online access. 

     

Bonanza Educational - LEGO Gizmos and Gadgets

  • Teach your LEGO bricks cool new tricks in the LEGO Gizmos and Gadgets after-school enrichment program! Use the LEGO we provide along with some extra supplies like marbles, balloons, rubber bands, and more to make exciting projects that are guaranteed to do something cool. Projects will "sail," "take off," "fly," "catapult," and "race"! In every class we will build a functioning model while we learn the STEM skills behind how they work and practice problem solving skills, teamwork skills, and become better communicators. Leave your LEGO at home, we'll supply everything you need. No take-home projects. Parent's guide for at-home activities will be available. For grades K+. Please note: There will be no classes on holidays, half-days, and during school breaks.

Dance Sequins - Dance/Cheer

  • This upbeat cheer and dance course helps to increase self-confidence and coordination. Learning the fundamentals of dance and cheer, including cheer chants, basic stunts, technique, terminology and a dance routine. Performing opportunities will include a special event for Family and Friends on the last day of class 30 minutes after school release (Mark Your Calendars)! Grades K - 6th. Please note there will be no class on half-days, holidays, and during school breaks.

Elements Music I

  • An innovative piano program created to expose children to playing the piano in a positive, fun, group environment. Students play their favorite songs from day one learning Rhythm, Counting, Note Reading, and Theory. Fun recital to share with families on the last day. Portable piano lab set up at your school! Junior Golf

  • Fast-paced, fun classes that teach students proper technique on four strokes used in golf: full swing, pitching, chipping, and putting. This course is not the ABC's of junior golf but rather and A to Z learning experience. This is a great way to get your junior golfer off to the right start. Open to boys and girls age K-5th, all equipment is provided for free and classes are held on the school's athletic field. register your junior golfer and fine out what our curriculum, has received national awards! Please note there will be no class on half-days, holidays, and during school breaks.

Science Matters - Goosebumps

  • Turn the human body inside out in this behind the scenes science exploration. From top to bottom - make models of your organs and body parts - lungs, brain, and blood. Make your muscles twitch. Get your skin ready for goose bump fun in this wild journey through the human body! Grades K - 5th. Please note: There will be no class on holidays, half-days and on school breaks.

Science Matters - Machine Madness

  • Spring in to action with this club! Build a catapult and invent your own air-powered car as we learn the laws of motion. From skateboard parks to Merry-go-rounds, we'll learn how to harness the natural forces that make machines tick. So much physics fun it will make your heads spin! Grades K - 5th. Please note: There will be no class on holidays, half-days, and during school breaks.

Science Matters - Slimeology

  • Slimey, Gooey, and Gross. FINALLY, a club all about SLIME. We will make all the different kinds of Non-Newtonian Fluids and explore the properties of matter. If you can squeeze it between your fingers and toes, we are going to make it. Floam, Sparkle Slime, and of course glow in the dark slime. It's a messy club made for the messiest of us all. Grades K - 5th. Please note: There will be no class on holidays, half-days and during school breaks.

Young Rembrandts - Drawing

  • DON'T ALLOW YOUR KIDS TO MISS OUT ON ART!! Enroll them today in Young Rembrandts! Children will produce remarkable drawings as they improve skills needed to advance in regular classrooms. Your child will complete a brand NEW drawing each and every week. Classes are taught by YR certified instructors and all supplies and all materials are included. Grades K - 6 welcome.
