Melinda Murphy, Principal
Melinda Murphy taught English for eighteen years before moving into administration nine years ago. She has a BA in English from Southern Utah University, an MA in Speech Communication from Miami University of Ohio and earned her Principal's Certificate from Northern Arizona University.
Ms. Murphy has been with Gilbert Public Schools since 2006 and has four kids who all graduated from GPS's own Desert Ridge High School.
In her spare time she loves traveling with her husband, reading a good book with a Diet Coke by the pool, finding new places to eat, and working out.

ACT TESTING - OCTOBER 20TH
Co-hort 2021 Seniors will be testing, no other students will be attending school that day. No registration is necessary. Buses will be picking up students in the morning at the regular time and will be leaving the school at 12:40 to take students home. Students need to report to their testing location by 7:30 a.m. Room assignments will be posted on campus by October 15th.
