Student Enrichment Offerings

  • The following Student Enrichment Programs are offered at our school.  These programs are coordinated and managed by our Community Education Department.  Please click on the registration links below to learn more and register today.

    Note: Gilbert Public Schools Community Education Department has computer terminals available to use at our office at 6839 East Guadalupe Road in Mesa, Arizona, for preschool enrollment for families without online access. 


Bonanza Educational - LEGO Gizmos and Gadgets

  • Teach your LEGO bricks cool new tricks in the LEGO Gizmos and Gadgets after-school enrichment program! Use the LEGO we provide along with some extra supplies like marbles, balloons, rubber bands, and more to make exciting projects that are guaranteed to do something cool. Projects will "sail," "take off," "fly," "catapult," and "race"! In every class we will build a functioning model while we learn the STEM skills behind how they work and practice problem solving skills, teamwork skills, and become better communicators. Leave your LEGO at home, we'll supply everything you need. No take-home projects. Parent's guide for at-home activities will be available. For grades K+. Please note: There will be no classes on holidays, half-days, and during school breaks.

Chess Emporium

  • Chess Emporium is designed to teach children of all ages how to play chess from scratch, and help them develop their game to a new level. Advanced students will be given instruction on abstract theory, tournament preparation, and the educational benefits of chess. *Please note: There will be two twelve-week sessions for the duration of the school year. Chess instructors will provide a list of dates when class will not be held during the fall semester. *Please note there will no class on half-days, holidays, and during school breaks. Chess is open to grades K - 6th.

Science Matters - Goosebumps

  • Turn the human body inside out in this behind the scenes science exploration. From top to bottom - make models of your organs and body parts - lungs, brain, and blood. Make your muscles twitch. Get your skin ready for goose bump fun in this wild journey through the human body! Grades K - 5th. Please note: There will be no class on holidays, half-days and on school breaks.

Science Matters - Machine Madness

  • Spring in to action with this club! Build a catapult and invent your own air-powered car as we learn the laws of motion. From skateboard parks to Merry-go-rounds, we'll learn how to harness the natural forces that make machines tick. So much physics fun it will make your heads spin! Grades K - 5th. Please note: There will be no class on holidays, half-days, and during school breaks.

Young Rembrandts - Drawing

  • DON'T ALLOW YOUR KIDS TO MISS OUT ON ART!! Enroll them today in Young Rembrandts! Children will produce remarkable drawings as they improve skills needed to advance in regular classrooms. Your child will complete a brand NEW drawing each and every week. Classes are taught by YR certified instructors and all supplies and all materials are included. Grades K - 6 welcome. Science Matters - Slimeology

  • Slimey, Gooey, and Gross. FINALLY, a club all about SLIME. We will make all the different kinds of Non-Newtonian Fluids and explore the properties of matter. If you can squeeze it between your fingers and toes, we are going to make it. Floam, Sparkle Slime, and of course glow in the dark slime. It's a messy club made for the messiest of us all. Grades K - 5th. Please note: There will be no class on holidays, half-days and during school breaks.
