Robert Bircher, Principal
Robert Bircher joined the Settler’s Point Pride as principal in 2017. His career in education, started with Mesa Public Schools in 2005, as a paraprofessional. After earning his undergraduate degree, he taught sixth grade at Settler’s Point for six years. Then, after working as an administrator for the district’s Title I Summer School program, he received an administrator position at Canyon Rim Elementary, where he worked for three years.
Mr. Bircher earned his undergraduate degree from Arizona State University for Elementary Education in 2008. He later received his Master’s Degree from Northern Arizona University for Educational Leadership in 2011.
Mr. Bircher prioritizes building relationships with staff, students and parents in order to build sustainable success for Settler’s Point. In building this collaborative culture, we are able to meet the social, emotional, and academic needs of each student. He believes that partnerships with parents and community stakeholders are vital to providing enriching and authentic learning experiences to our students.
Robert is married and has two young children. During his free time, he enjoys reading, being outdoors, watching/playing sports, and spending time with family and friends.

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 8:10am–2:55pm
Wednesday Early Release: 8:10am–1:55pm
Half Days: 8:10am–11:55am
