Shawn Lynch, Principal
I am entering my 33rd year in education, which began teaching science in 1990 at Agua Fria HS and then at Mesa HS in 1998. I moved into administration at Mesa High as an assistant principal in 2006. In 2010, I served as the Principal of Williams Field HS, and in 2013 left to become the Principal of Westwood HS in Mesa, where I retired from administration in 2018. After retiring, I worked as an Academic Mentor in the ASU Athletic Department, spent the inaugural year of Eastmark HS as a Biology teacher and department chair, and most recently served as an Instructional Coach at Mesquite HS. Throughout my career, I have also coached basketball as the head boys coach at Agua Fria, Mesa High, Eastmark, and currently Mesquite HS.
