Report An Absence Using Infinite Campus

Parents and guardians can report student absences through your Infinite Campus Parent Portal or through your Infinite Campus app. Simply log in to Infinite Campus and click on ‘Report an Absence’.

You will receive a confirmation email to the address associated with your parent portal after submitting your request. Please contact your student’s school with any questions.

Please note you will still be able to call in and leave a message on your child’s school attendance line.

Infinite Campus Mobile Parent/Student Portal Instructions

Infinite Campus has updated mobile apps for the parent and student portals.

Browse assignments by specific class or due date.
Review attendance events in summary and detail form.
Immediate access to grades as they are posted.
Review schedule from anywhere, at any time.
Receive notifications immediately on attendance and updates grades.

Download the mobile app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store by searching for either Campus Student (for students) or Campus Parent (for parents).

Click the icon to be directed to the iOS app store to download the app.

Click the icon to be directed to the Android/Google Play app store to download the app.

Installation Directions for Parents:

Install “Campus Parent” onto your device
Open the Campus Parent app
Type Gilbert in to the District Name field
Select Arizona in the State field
Click Search District

Type your Parent Portal Username and Password into the corresponding fields. If you would like to receive mobile push notifications from this app, please check the Stay Logged In button. Then click Log In.

How do I set up an Infinite Campus account?

Step 1:

If you haven’t created an Infinite Campus parent portal account yet, click here to get started.

Step 2:

You will enter in your email address that you have provided to the school during registration and then you will click submit.

If successful, you will receive an email to complete the process. If you do not finish this set-up process within 24 hours, you will need to restart the process.

If not successful or an error, you will receive one of the following error messages:

Email is not valid – This means that the email you entered is not a valid email address and you need to try again.
Email is not associated with a person in our system – This means that the email you entered is not attached to any person in Infinite Campus and that you will need to contact the child’s school to have a clerk enter in the email address for you before moving forward or use the email you provided to the school.
Email is associated to multiple people in our system – This means that the email you entered is attached to multiple people in Infinite Campus. You will need to contact the child’s school and a clerk will need to locate the email address that is attached to multiple people and remove that email off of one of the people in IC as appropriate.

Step 3:

You will receive an email from “GPS No Reply” – gpsnoreply@gilbertschools.net that gives you instructions on clicking a link that is provided in the email. You will need to click that link.

Step 4:

After clicking the link provided in the previous step, you will need to enter in a strong password. Errors will go away after each is met. After entering in a strong password, you will then click Create My Account.

Your username will be your email address and the password will be the strong password you entered.

Step 5:

You can then login to the portal and access your child’s grades and attendance.
