Is Transportation available for students to get to/from Summer School?

Yes. Regional district transportation is available to and from the following locations for a fee of $75 per student, per session:

  • Boulder Creek Elementary
  • Greenfield Elementary
  • Harris Elementary
  • Settler’s Point Elementary
  • Mesquite Junior High

Regional transportation pick-up and drop-off locations are coordinated with Community Education’s Summer Camp and Zone program sites. However, enrollment in those summer programs is not required in order to use regional transportation.

Regional transportation requires separate registration for each trip (morning and afternoon). Families who choose to utilize transportation to and from a regional location must enroll their student in all three sessions of Elementary Summer School.

Buses will drop students off at the Elementary Summer School site shortly before classes begin at 8:30 a.m. and will pick students up at the end of the school day at 11:30 a.m.

Can students attending a school outside of Gilbert Public Schools participate in Elementary Summer School?

Yes! Enrollment through GPS Community Education is open to students outside of Gilbert Public Schools.
