GCA Vision: The vision of Gilbert Classical Academy is to prepare students for success at a college or university by fostering the development of each student’s academic and social potential.

Scholarships and Varsity Letters for Service
The Gilbert Education Foundation awarded GCA Students and STAFF with Scholarships and Varsity Letters for Service on Thursday, April 27th! Gilbert Education Foundation recognized and rewarded 3 GCA students and 1 GCA Staff Member for their volunteer efforts in the community. The students of which had over 200 or more hours of service and earned their high school varsity letter in volunteerism. Our own Advanced Vocal Choir performed and GCA had great representation at the event! Congratulations to Sheela Bhatia, GCA's Media Tech, and to our GCA students: Trayna Bui, Alli Sreeni, and Wil Johnson for receiving the Varsity Letters for Service!

ASU Model U.N. Winners
GCA's Model U.N. team competed at ASU MUN tournament on Friday, November 18th. The team did a great job, taking home multiple awards. Farhan Islam, Arshiya Mohamed, Phil Ni, Alana Skiera, & Cindy Tran all won awards for Best Novice Position Paper in their respective committees. Arshiya Mohamed also took home the award for Best Veteran Position Paper in her committee! Charlotte Pascoe won Best Novice Diplomat in the Historical Council, while Alexander Tangpan took home awards for Best Novice Delegate and Best Novice Diplomat in the General Assembly. Leah Kabilan was awarded Best Veteran Diplomat in the Historical Council, while Isabella Smith won Best Veteran Delegate in the Human Rights Council. In addition, GCA was awarded 3rd place for Best School.

Congrats to Our National Merit Scholars!
Two GCA Seniors are among the nation's top academically talented high school students. Khushi Parikh and Ayla Young both qualified as National Merit Scholarship recipients. Each year GCA Juniors are invited to take the PSAT/NMSQT in the Fall, the qualifying test for entry to the competition for scholarships to be awarded each year. Being recognized as a National Merit Scholar is a huge honor as it recognizes years of hard work and dedication to learning. We wish them all the best!

Free Summer Meals for Children May 31–July 13
Children age 18 years and younger are eligible for a meal at no charge May 31–July 13, 2023. No registration, *For kids and teens 18 years old and younger* We provide FREE, HEALTHY, NUTRITIOUS meals to be consumed on site. Adults may purchase breakfast for $2.75 and lunch for $4.75 (CASH only)
