Notification Dashboard Overview
In light of the current high volume of COVID notifications, and the significant impact this is having on our schools, parents and families will now be able to view information regarding potential exposure to COVID-19 in class on our website. The goal is to provide easy access for our parents and families to up-to-date information while supporting our schools to educate and support our students.
Please review the schedules below carefully. Should your student have a teacher in the same class hour, you can reference the date at the top for the date your student would have had general exposure. The exposure date refers to the last time a positive student/staff was on campus.
If you do not see any teachers for the class hour that are in common with your student's schedule, this means that there has not been a report of a COVID positive student/or staff at this time.
Please note this information is being shared as a general notification for the entire classroom. If your student is required to quarantine, you will be contacted directly.
The information on these dashboards will be updated daily and each notification will remain on the dashboard for three days, allowing parents time to access the information.
If your child develops any of these symptoms, please see your healthcare provider and/or get tested:
- Sore Throat
Once your child is tested, they will need to stay home and wait for the results. If you are not sure where to go to be tested, please visit the Maricopa County Department of Public Health website.
As we know, there is high transmission of COVID-19 circulating in our community, and it is important that we all continue to monitor for symptoms consistent with COVID-19. Gilbert Public Schools is committed to supporting our schools and students during this difficult time.
- Reminding staff and students to stay home when they are sick.
- Asking staff and students to test if they have symptoms compatible with COVID-19
- Continuing to clean high touch areas on a regular basis
- Monitoring individual classrooms and changing mitigating measures in response

If your student tests positive for COVID-19 please contact your campus Health Office and refer to our GPS Health Services site for guidelines on returning to school.
If an outbreak is identified, you will be contacted directly. Please note an outbreak is defined by Maricopa County Health as two or more cases that are not epidemiologically linked, do not share a household, and were not identified as close contacts of each other in another setting during standard case investigation or contact tracing.
