The Governing Board met for a scheduled Business Meeting on Tuesday, February 15, 2022.  The meeting began with a call for an Executive Session at 5:15 pm to discuss the potential appointment of Mr. Brian Yee as Principal of Highland High School.

The meeting was called to order at 6:00 pm.

The meeting began with the Superintendent’s Report presented by Assistant Superintendent of Business Services, Ms. Bonnie J. Betz:

• Update - Today the Arizona State House approved an exemption for the Arizona Aggregate Expenditure Limit. The next step will be for this to go to the Senate for a vote.

The meeting began with Requests to speak to the Governing Board.  There were 7 requests to speak.

The FY 2022 2nd Quarter Financial Report - Quarter ended December 31, 2021 was presented by Director of Finance, Ms. Jackie Mattinen.

The FY 2022 Monthly Financial Report - Month ended January 31, 2022, followed, presented by Assistant Superintendent of Business Services, Ms. Bonnie J. Betz, and Director of Finance, Ms. Jackie Mattinen.

A Proclamation for Career and Technical Education Month followed.
