Program Descriptions

Kindercamp Summer: (for students 3 to 6-years-old) is the perfect place to make new friends, learn new things, have fun and be safe. Our summer program has a low staff to student ratio with specialized instructors for the many age-appropriate activities that will be offered to keep your child’s body active and their minds stimulated throughout the summer. Activities include music & finger play, counting, measuring, fine motor skills, scientific wonders, arts & crafts, sports/active games, computers, toy & construction areas, cooking, and water days. Every week each campus will have a special theme, water day, and an in-house field trip. Students must be independently toilet trained.

VIK Summer Camp: (for students entering 1st grade to 6th grade) is a great opportunity for campers to experience new adventures in a fun and safe environment. Camp A summer campers will not swim due to staff to student ration requirement set forth by the Town of Gilbert.  Swimming will be offered one day a week for those students enrolled in Camp B ONLY. Due to staff to student ratio requirements set forth by the Town of Gilbert, swimming opportunities may be subject to change. Swim Days can be found on Camp B’s Field Trip Calendar.  While on campus they will participate in many activities that will encourage learning, friendships, team building, and keeping active in a fun hands on group setting. Campers will explore science, arts and crafts, active games/ sports, cooking, team building, computers, free play and much more.

The Zone Summer: (for students 11 to 14 years -old) allows tweens and teens a fun safe environment to create lasting friendships, learn new skills and participate in fun field trips. Enrollment Procedures:

Registration must be completed on-line. All information needs to be filled in completely during registration. All information supplied will be used to complete your child’s registration form and emergency information. You will need to submit a copy of your child’s birth certificate (Kindercamp only) along with proof of current immunizations (Kindercamp and Out of District Students) . During the registration process, log into your existing Eleyo family account or if new to Eleyo, you will need to create your user name and password for future access to your account. A non-refundable registration fee per child is due at the time of registration. After your registration has been approved you will receive a confirmation email. Employee discount must be verified before registration approval. *If your child has an IEP, the supervisor of your specific program must review and approve it prior to registration. GPS Summer Camps and DHS require that all children attending must be completely independent in toileting. Your student may not attend the program until you have received a confirmation email. GPS Summer Camps enroll on a first-come, first-served basis.

GPS Summer Camps provide a variety of programs and schedules to fit the community needs. Upon registration, families can select a program and schedule for the summer. Modification to contracts can be requested in the Eleyo system, requests will be reviewed, approved or denied based on availability of the specific program. We offer 3 types of contracts (schedules) during the summer.

  • Consistent Contract: Select this option if your child will need the same day(s), each week for the entire time Summer Camp is in session.
  • Pick Your Week Contract: Select this option if your child will need a Monday-Friday schedule for particular weeks during the time Summer Camp is in session (in the Eleyo system, select “Change Schedule” when adding dates to this type of contract).
  • Pick Your Days Contract: Select this option if your child will need a mix of days during the time Summer Camp is in session (in the Eleyo system, select "Change Schedule" when adding dates to this type of contract).

If you DO NOT need your child to start attending, please make sure you select a start date for your child so your account won't be invoiced before starting to attend. All payments must be submitted online in your Eleyo accounts.
