This course will teach students to apply personal employability skills necessary to succeed in the workplace. Junior Achievement Applied Economics course materials will be used. One hour of daily classroom activities and a supervised work experience of a minimum of 15 hours per week will offer opportunities for students to earn high school credit while earning wages. Participation in Family, Careers and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) Club is recommended. This course will meet District graduation requirements for Economics and/or Career and Technical Education upon completion of the entire year. Two elective credits will be issued for the work portion of the course
