Introduction to Technical Theatre

This course will provide students with a study of all fundamentals involved in theatre production. Major topics include scenic design and construction, aesthetic values in theatre, theatre history, sound, lighting, costume, and makeup design, and stage management. Students will work in the classroom, auditorium, and scene shop applying their knowledge to hands-on projects in theatre arts. After-school, evening, and weekend commitments may be expected.
