This course provides a comprehensive exploration of journalism, taking students from aspiring reporters to proficient storytellers. Beginning with the evolution of journalism and its ethical foundations, students will examine the role of news in society. They will master interviewing techniques, information sourcing, AP style, and news story structure, along with skills in feature and opinion writing. Inspired by historical and contemporary journalists, students will develop a fair and balanced narrative voice.
