IB Dance Standard Level

This course will provide the advanced and company level dance student an opportunity to grow as an artist and leader in their community through performing, teaching, choreographing and analyzing dance with both a personal and global understanding. The history, technique, vocabulary, and traditions in various dance styles will be explored and depicted in choreographic work. The choreographic work will encourage a dialogue in the dance community and world through performance and use of technology. This course is designed to prepare students to successfully complete the IB assessment.
