This course will examine European History from 1450 to present. This course introduces students to the cultural, economic, political, and social developments that have played a fundamental role in shaping the world in which we live. The goal of this course is to enable students to develop an understanding of the principal themes in modern European history, to analyze historical events and to express historical understanding in writing. This course is designed to prepare students to successfully complete the Advanced Placement Exam in May. May be taken for dual credit. Elective credit will be issued for this course.
