This course will prepare the student for decision-making within the American Marketing System. Course content includes: financial literacy; personal finance; economic reasoning; economic systems; exchange and markets; the national economy; and the global economy. Because inquiry is the cornerstone in the study of history and the social sciences, students will develop and utilize skills in the same context as historians and social scientists. Emphasis will also focus on interpreting and analyzing data sets, such as tables, charts, graphs, maps, and infographics.
