IB MYP Individuals & Society - 7th Grade

This course integrates historical inquiry, geographic reasoning, civic understanding, and economic concepts through a concept-based approach aligned with the Arizona 7th Grade Social Studies Standards and the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme framework. Students analyze complex sources, explore diverse perspectives, and make global connections through thematic units. Emphasis is placed on critical thinking, communication, and reflection as students engage in inquiry-based learning, interdisciplinary projects, and service-learning experiences that connect the past to the present.
