This course will center around the foundational concepts of calculus: limits, derivatives (including planar motion), integrals and the Fundamental Theorem of Calculus (including improper integrals, integration by parts, lengths of curves, and logistic growth), and series. These concepts will be developed through mathematical practices for AP Calculus: (1) Implementing Mathematical Processes; (2) Connecting Representations; (3) Justification; (4) Communication and Notation. This course is designed to prepare students to successfully complete the Advanced Placement Exam in May.
