This rigorous lab-oriented course exposes students to an accelerated introductory biology course and provides a high degree of enrichment. Critical reading, writing, and problem-solving skills will be applied to inquiry-based studies. Topics include the dynamic relationships among organisms, how matter and energy flow through the environment, biochemical life processes, cellular organization, mechanisms of inheritance, biodiversity, and organisms’ change through time.
