This is a rigorous lab-oriented course designed to expose students to an accelerated introductory chemistry course. This course will emphasize the experimental method, critical thinking and enrichment research activities. Topics include energy and matter, atomic structure, chemical bonding and reactions, thermochemistry, gas laws, acids and bases, equilibrium, and stoichiometry.
