This course will involve the study of anatomy and physiology, biomechanics, psychology and nutrition in the context of sport, exercise, and health. Students will explore a range of core and option topics, and carry out experimental investigations in both laboratory and field settings. Students will have the opportunity to acquire the knowledge and understanding to apply scientific principles and critically analyze human performance and develop their understanding of the scientific method. This course is designed to prepare students to successfully complete the IB Exam.
