This course will provide students with basic clay hand-building methods and wheel throwing techniques. Glaze application and various firing techniques will be explored. Students will focus on creating cylinder-formed objects and bowls, and numerous decorative techniques. Students will concentrate on elements and principles of design with an emphasis on 3-D aspects. Students will further understand their own creative process through art criticism.
