Fee: $40.00 per semester
This course will provide students with an in-depth study of ceramics, including more advanced throwing and hand-building and sculpting techniques. This course will also introduce glaze formulation and decoration. There will be additional studies of the elements and principles of design and critique, focusing on the development of individual expression. Students will assist in mixing both old and new glazes and participate in glaze test firings, as well as loading and unloading kilns.
