This course will introduce the use of manually adjusted cameras, and the development of black and white film, including developing, retouching, and printing of student photographs. Other topics will include digital photography, darkroom printing techniques, and imaging software. Students will begin to explore various aesthetic domains such as portraiture, landscape, architecture, and documentary photography.
