This course will have students continue to develop proficiency in reading, writing, speaking and listening skills. Students continue to expand their knowledge of Japanese cultural traditions. The exploration of the language and culture is taught through cultural themes using authentic resources and materials. The more complex structures are reviewed and refined through skill-building activities in the three modes of communication - interpretive, interpersonal, and presentational - to prepare students for real-world situations, according to Arizona and national standards.
