Honors Spanish III

This honors intermediate course will continue to develop students’ skills in Spanish in all three modes of communication and five communication strands according to the Arizona World and Native Languages Standards and ACTFL (American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages) anticipated outcomes: Interpersonal Communication, Interpretive Reading & Listening, and Presentational Writing & Speaking. Emphasis is placed on practical conversation, reading and discussion of short stories and literature. The course includes cultural topics in the Hispanic world through use of authentic resources and technology. Spanish is used almost exclusively in the course by both the teacher and students.
